Need some constructive criticism on my Rebirth cover

Post by Chakyl »

Hello everyone, I'm new to making covers (And graphic design in general), so I could use a bit of feedback on my cover before I upload it. Any feedback is appreciated.

It looks good so far. You could continue to add details if you like or just leave it as is but the only thing I'd highly recommend is not going with a solid black background. Look for (or create) something textured - weather it's an actual texture or just a color gradient. Since it's a gory game dark colors will work best particularly reds.

Thanks for the feedback, though it seems like @yo1dog beat me to the punch with his cover. Would probably be best to start from scratch. Practice makes perfect, after all :D.

The front cover is great, I'd suggest adding more to the back though.

Look at other covers, and get some inspiration. Aside from that keep up the good work.

Here's my second cover, I'm quite happy with how it turned out (Happy enough to submit it), and I tried incorporating all the things I lacked in my rebirth cover.

Don't worry about what other people are creating. By all means, finish your cover. Even if someone else makes a similar cover, yours will always be your own creation.

That is really bad ass. I hate the game for its difficulty, if your R button isn't broken, you're cheating.

Really good job, adding more to the back cover was done well too.
