Dead Space Cover Work in Progress

Here is a cover for dead space I'm working on, from the original retail disk. Problem I have is that after removing the Games For Windows logo, there is still a ton of white space to fill to the steam backup cover top. I'm assuming it's not ok to "cheat and just resize the cover top, so does anyone have any suggestions, tips or advice?

please note this is not the original psd (filesize of psd is too big too upload to image server)

Here is the current .psd

Hi stee01, I see what you mean. One suggestion you can do in Photoshop is use the "clone" tool to extend the stars up. Another good idea to do is simply fade to black or another color. I hope this helps.

EDIT: I just saw your Dead Space DVD cover. I noticed the back is slightly offset and the EA logo on the spine is doubled. You can edit and reupload it as well if you like.

Went through with the clone tool, don't know how well it has come out.

Any more suggestions or is this good to upload?

Hi stee01, it's looking better. I would touch up some of the blending, however. Also, I would recomend removing the guidelines layer from this and your DVD case.

I implemented your suggestions and uploaded the cd label (and reuploaded the front cover). If they're not up to standard feel free to let me know. The "cloning" looks a lot better now than it did before. Thanks for the advice

Good work, stee01. Go ahead and delete your first upload of the DVD case so people don't download the wrong one.
