Re: Thief (2014)
The game takes up just over 24GB on my HD uncompressed and just under 20GB compressed. That's a lot of DVD-R's so I have it burned to a single Blu-ray disc instead.

You think that's bad? The newest Wolfenstein game is like a 50GB download! I'm definitely going to pick up a retail copy of that.

Re: Thief (2014)
Titanfall has 52 GB because of uncompressed audio files...
Well, games get bigger and bigger but I think 20 to 30 GB is pretty normal today

Yeah but Titanfall is not backup-able so that is not meant to be burned on disk...at least i don't know how to backup my origin games

Re: Thief (2014)
There was a 5GB update for BioShock Infinite yesterday (language packs) so I checked my local files to see how big the whole game was. It's now over 42GB total! When I bought the game I remember it being about a 15GB download (pre DLC).

@Nephilim983:
You can simply copy all the game files somewhere else (like on a disc) and when you want to reinstall it, you copy them back and select the same folder for the download. Origin should finde the files and not download them again, unlike Uplay...
@PieMonster:
Sounds like those DLCs are pretty badly compressed.

@Kexikus
Yeah, i know all that...but non the less, that is not "fresh" backup...and if you want to burn that to disc you have to separate them manually to multiple discs...closest to clean backup would be burning install files that you download and burn them before installation...I think origin deletes them after installing a game...
oh, i didnt know Uplay is that bad ...i dont own Ubisoft games for PC so i haven't had any experience with that...
